Ripsaw is now offering brand new CNC ported cylinder kits available for purchase. CNC porting allows us to maintain the highest quality and repeatable process providing consistent results. This includes the entire top end kit (CNC Ported cylinder, piston and rings and bearings)

Pricing = MSRP of Cylinder + Port Work ($299,$349,$399)

  1. Select your cylinder above and complete purchase to receive your order number by email. 
  2. Ripsaw will prepare your order for packaging. Orders placed by 3PM EST will be shipped same day as purchase! Ripsaw will email you tracking information as soon as it is on the way.
  3. Install your Ripsaw cylinder as normal - (Port Matched Muffler Required for Optimal Results)

Ripsaw CNC Modifications Include:
  • CNC Cylinder machine work (Base cut & Squish cut) for increased compression
  • Re-size and re-shape of all ports and port windows for optimal air flow (intake, exhaust, upper and lower transfers)
  • Polished exhaust for reduced carbon build up
  • Chamfered port windows and cylinder base for longevity
  • Decompression delete

Great product. Only issue is in quality control. There was a slight lip on the exhaust port. I wasn't sure if the cnc machine missed this area or if intentionally left behind. Luckily I've ported several k24 heads so I have the tooling and was able to take this area down relatively quickly. At the price point I'd like to see a bit more attention to detail but due to work load it's understandable. Saw runs strong and sounds great. Went together with zero issues. Considering sending in my husky for port work...

201 t cnc ported cylinder

Noticeable gains. Good quality I felt as if the exhaust port could have been finished smoother. Has very destinct machining marking. I usually port my own saws but am extremely busy. Figured I’d give this a try. Not a bad value. Not quite the gains I would have expected. Package arrived in a very short time and buying process was easy. Would probably go another route In the future though. Or possibly try your hand ported cylinders
