Worth the wait. Should have ordered two. But I had never seen one in action or used it….till now. My 201 is gonna get me in trouble.
Thing can cut full 16 inch bar width cuts with minimal slow down. Cuts through pine trees like butter. I carry a saw for remote trail work on pack or on bike. No need for my big saws 95 percent of the time with the compact power hours. This thing will get the job done of saws twice its size. And sips gas. And sounds sick!

New dogs fit perfectly. I tested it on a couple of big stumps that I needed to cut low. Big spikes provided easy leverage.

I have enjoyed my 261-c Stihl chainsaw but I thought it could use a little more power. I have never run a ported saw so I decided to give these guys at RIPSAW a try. I got my cylinder back the other day and was excited to put it back together and get cutting some wood. Reset the autotune and put on a 20 inch bar . I put it in a 20 inch log and HOLY CRAP ! this saw is a little 50 cc demon. I can see what these people on utube mean when they say after you run a ported saw it is hard to run a stock one. Now I have a light 50 cc saw rips like a much bigger saw. THANKS RIPSAW !!!

Great product and arrived on time

I’m very pleased with the way my 500i cuts,it goes through 4’ white oak like it’s nothing. The wait time was longer than expected but well worth it

I purchased a MS500I on my own and sent it to RIPSAW. The turn around was 6 months from the time they received it. So far I am more than impressed. The saw is very snappy when limbing and easily eats big timber. I did bore scope the cylinder when i got it back and it was flawless. Thanks guys and expect a 201T heading your way in the future!
