Ripsaw Modifications Include:

  • CNC Cylinder machine work (Squish Cut + Base Cut) for increased compression
  • CNC machining re-sizes and re-shapes of all ports and port windows for optimal air flow (Intake, Exhaust)
  • Polished exhaust for reduced carbon build up
  • Chamfered port windows and cylinder base for longevity
  • CNC Port matched muffler mod (Baffle Delete, Resized Outlet Hole)
  • Decompression delete
  • Computer recalibration

500 RipSaw

This 500 is extremely impressive. WOW! It’s like night and day difference compared to the stock 500. Lots of torque and power. It rips through wood like a mad gorilla. I purchased a 201 T from you guys 4 years ago and she is still running strong and I run the mess out of that saw 4 to 5 days a week. Same impressive power from day one. Also I purchased a 261 from you guys 3 years ago and it is also still running strong. I’m definitely on board with Team RipSaw 🤙

Ripsaw 500i, First thoughts....

I unboxed new 500i. Well packaged for shipping. I like that the box does not indicate what is inside. No damage during shipping.
I started it late afternoon for first time. It was 12 degrees out. Brrr.

I noticed right away the compression is higher when pulling the start cord. It surprised me.

It started first pull and ran perfect.

That's as far as I got. If the weather warms up a little next week, I'll take it out and cut a few rounds.

Excellent hotsaw, rips through trees faster than my other saws and starts way easier, no matter the ambient temp.
