I ordered these pants not ever owning anything but cheap chaps and let me tell you these are worth the money spent. They are well designed, very adjustable with vents and pockets everywhere. I went with the mediums and I’m 5’6” and wear a 34/30 in jeans and they fit perfectly. If you’re on the fence about trying Arbortec gear don’t wait trust me. Absolutely love this saw. I also have a stock 400 also and love it too. The ripsaw version is definitely a step up in performance and not much louder than stock which I personally am a fan of. The smoothness at all rpm is what impresses me the most and love the extra torque. It runs a 25 inch light bar flawlessly and is perfectly balanced.I’ve also tried my 28 inch bar and didn’t see much of a difference compared to the 25. I bought my saw from Mccoy’s and personally delivered saw to Ripsaw. I was given a tour and got to see their CNC machine at work. These guys couldn’t be any cooler and it was a pleasure doing business with them. My son bought a 500i off them last year and it is a monster. My saw came in 4 1/2 months. Couldn’t be happier. Honestly I have not seen a problem with it. I like the bar and chains so far. I do plan on ordering a ported 2511t cylinder and the worm gear soon.

Highly recommend this upgrade especially if you love your saws

Very impressed so far, more accurate pruning cuts in tight unions. Getting limbs to fall flat is easier due to the warp 9 speed and narrow kerf. Cons, the carving bar throws chains easier than stock bars if you maneuver branches aloft with chain momentum, or brush jobs when you go at it like Edward scissor hands on meth. Conclusion, Being able to keep a 2511 longer aloft and slice bigger wood without switching to a 2 cycle boat anchor is worth every penny.

These guys are great. I have Ripsaw ported cylinders on my Echo 2511, STIHL 261, and 500i. They always answer the phone, glad to talk to you, will give you any information you need, and great products. I’m glad people like them are doing well with a great buisness.
